A. Introduction:
- Hebrews 1:1-2, "In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe."
- After the first coming, the Lord spoke to Paul by the appearance of light giving him instruction (Acts 9:3-6). Followed by another; the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision saying that he with him (Acts 18:9-11) that Paul continued teaching the word of God (Acts 18:9-11).
- Paul received the gospel not from any man, rather he received it by revelation from Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11-12)
- Paul said, “I am the least of the apostles but by the grace of God he is what he is, and his grace to him was not without effect.” (1 Corinthians 15:9-10)
- Jesus said to his apostles, “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” (John 14:15-17)

Not like in the old times (Old Testament), God changed the way he is worshipped, as expressed in this verse:
- John 4:23-24, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

In Jesus time, God made his commands not burdensome, as expressed in this verse:
- 1 John 5:3, "In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,"

And this God’s basic command, as in this verse:
- 1 John 3:23, "And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us."

To build the body of Chris is not just church services but works of service, as in this verse:
- Ephesians 4:11-12, "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."

To glorify God is by good deeds (Matthew 5:16) and supported by this verse.
- James 2:24, “You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.”

The old religious traditions & church worships are obsolete but not the Law (by Moses).
- 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come the old has gone, the new is here!"

And supported by this verse:
- Hebrews 8:13, "By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear."

In this chaotic world, wrath of God is being revealed because the truth was suppressed because of the wickedness of men.
- Romans 1:18, "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness."

Several signs of the end times as written in the gospel:

- Mark 13:1-8
- Matthew 24:3-12

One thing great to take now about love, as expressed in this verse:
- 1 Peter 4:7-8, "The end of all things is near. Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

The Lord is patient and not wanting anyone to perish, but come to repentance:
- 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

The Lord has launched the 21st Century Divine Revelation (21CDR) to subject humans to spiritual awakening for them to come to repentance:
- Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.”

B. Nature of God and Jesus
1.Nothing is impossible to God.
- Matthew 19:26, "With men it is impossible; but to God all things are possible."
2. Modern science has proven the Almighty God.
- Acts 7:48-49, “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: “‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool." What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord. Or where will my resting place be?"
3. God does live on buildings built by men. He is not served by human hands.
- Acts 17:24-25, "God does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else."
4. In Jesus time, more of the love of fellow humans, instead of burnt offerings & others worship services.
- Mark 12:33, "To love God with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
5. Basic God’s command: Love one another because love has come from God; if we love we know God because God is love.
- 1 John 4:7-8, "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
6. God's love is made complete in us if we love one another.
- 1 John 4:12, “No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
7. To have communion with God is for us to live in love.
- 1 John 4:16, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
8. God that we are talking are either God the Father or His Son, Jesus Christ because God and Jesus are one.
- John 10:30, "I and the Father are one.”
9. God and Jesus are both light:
- 1 John 1:5, "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all."
- John 1:4, "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."
- John 8:12, "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
10. Jesus is the bread of life.
- John 6:35, “Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
11. Jesus is rock.
- 1 Corinthians 10:3-4, "They all ate the same spiritual food 4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ."
12. Jesus is the spring of water welling up to eternal life.
- John 4:13-14, "Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
13 Jesus did not come by water only, but by water and blood.
- 1 John 5:6, "This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood."’
14. Jesus’ birth is not a hoax but the truth (Luke 2:1-20):

C. Ministry
As a spiritual ministry, Etman Heart is guided by the Scripture and the 21st Century Divine Revelation (21CDR)
1. Etman Heart is a ministry like the ministry Jesus established when he was about thirty years old (Luke 3:23), one main purpose of which is to spread the gospel to all nations (Luke 1:38, Mark 13:10) and to all creation (Mark 16:15).
2. Etman Heart is a spiritual ministry to give spiritual guidance and subject to humanity to spiritual awakening as expressed in this verse:
- Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free."
3. Etman Heart is the ministry of reconciliation as expressed in this verse:
- 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, " All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation."
4. Etman Heart is to focus not on church service but works of service to build the body of Christ:
- Ephesians 4:11-12, "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."
5. Etma Heart will preach no other doctrine but the gospel because it is the word of truth that Jesus was born to testify (John 18:37):
- Colossians 1:5, "because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel."
- John 18:37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
6. Active members of Etman Heart, let us show that we are letter from Christ:
- 2 Corinthians 3:3, "You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts."
7. Etman Heart shall not put stumbling block in anyone's path:
- 2 Corinthians 6:3-4, "We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses."
8. Etman Heart shall avoid those people thought that they could buy the gift of God with money.
- Acts 8:20-21, "Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God."
9. Since it is popular that Jesus died on the cross to save the sins of the world, Etman Heart shall focus on what love is, the other reason of Jesus' sacrifice.
- 1 John 3:16, "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters."
10. In this Ministry, Jesus is the mediator making it superior to the old one.
- Hebrews 8:6-7, “But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises. For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.”
11. We do not lose heart through God's mercy as revealed in the 21 Century Divine Revelation:
- Mark 11:1-2, "Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God."
12. Etman Heart is not to baptize but to preach the gospel as revealed in the 21CDR:
- 1 Corinthians 1:17, "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power."
13. The Goal of Etman Heart Ministry has four objectives: S. T. U. N.:
S: Shepherd the flock of God. (1 Peter 5:2-4)
T: Testify to the truth. (Acts 18:34)
U: Unite humanity as one body. (John 17:20-21)
N: Nurture nature (Genesis 1:28-30)

D. Religion
1. With the current chaotic condition of the world, religion fails to fulfill Jesus’ prayer for unity as in this verse:
- John 17:20-21, "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
2. Instead religion unites, it divides segregating people that caused the “bad fruit” of world disunity by proliferation of the modern false prophets:
- Matthew 7:15-16, "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?"
3. The pure and faultless religion was not preached and was not put into action with love:
- James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
4. With the wickedness of men the truth was suppressed (Rom. 1:18). Humans have been polluted by the world because they ignored this command.
- 1 John 2:15-16, "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world."
5. The time has come for the worshippers to worship God in Spirit and in truth:
- John 4:23-24, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
6. God sent signs using nature and people to communicate to humans of His modern commandments for the modern world through the 21st Century Divine Revelation, the brief summary of His commands are presented below:
- 1 John 5:3, "In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,"
- 1 John 3:23, "And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us."
As supported by another verse:
- Romans 13:8, "Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law."
7. God gave humans Spirit, not any living creatures on the planet earth:
- 1 John 3:24, "Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us."
8. God put His laws into our hearts and minds:
- Hebrews 10:16, “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”
9. Not like in the old times, to glorify God is by good deeds:
- Matthew 5:16, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
10. Old religious traditions are obsolete.

11. Not much on burnt offering and sacrifices but love your neighbor as yourself:
- Mark 12:33, "To love God with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
12. To love & serve Jesus is to love the poor in action & in truth with love:
- Mark 10:45, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
- Matthew 25:40, "“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"
- 1 John 3:17-18, "If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on thm, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
- 1 Corinthians 13:3, "If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing."
13. Most religions may not include God’s foundational command, to care for the mother earth causing climate change and starvation, not just people but wildlife.
- Genesis 1:28-30, "God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so."
14. The popular or habit is for us to go to man-made church to pray because this was the emphasis in the Old Testament that our ancestors built magnificent temples as house of God, but not in the New Testament, as expressed in the following verses:
- Acts 7:48-49, “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: “‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool." What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord. Or where will my resting place be?"
15. And when we pray, we used to go to man-church without knowing this verse:
- Matthew 6:5-6 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Go to a private place and pray in secret."
16. This modern way, to have communion with God is us to live in love:
- 1 John 4:16, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
17. God's love is made complete in us if we love one another:
- 1 John 4:12, “No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
18. We are liars if we hate our brother or sister.
- 1 John 4:20-21, "Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister."
19. Another important command is this and if we obey it, we able to fulfill the law of Christ:
- Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
20. If we obey this one command, we fulfill the entire law:
- Galatians 5:14, "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
21. We are doing it right if we keep the Royal Law: “Love Your Neighbor as Yourself”:
- James 2:8, "If you really keep that royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing it right."
22. As for religious leaders or believers who claim to live in God are to live as Jesus did.
- 1 John 2:6, "Whoever claims to live in God must live as Jesus did."

E. Church
1. Jesus is the head of the body, the church:
- Colossians 1:18, "And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy."
2. Humans are all parts of one body and Jesus is the head.
- 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
3. God put Jesus as the head over everything for the church:
- Ephesians 1:22, "And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church."
4. As religious leaders, be shepherds of the church of God, not just preachers:
- Acts 20:28, "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood."
5. Humans are all members of Jesus' body, the church.
- Ephesians 5:29-30, "After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body."
6. Regardless of differences, we are all parts of one body:
- Romans 12:4-5, "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
7. In the New Testament (the gospel), it is written that God does not live in man-made temple or church:
- Acts 7:48-49, “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: “‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool." What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord. Or where will my resting place be?"
- Acts 17:24, "God does not live in temples built by human hands."
8. Our bodies are temples of the living God:.
- 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, "Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple."
And temples of the Holy Spirit:
- 1 Corinthians 6:19, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;"
9. Earth is the rock, the body of Jesus is the church, and humans are parts of that one body:
- Matthew 16:18, "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[c] will not overcome it."
10. Jesus’ disciples recalled that he meant his body, the church, because he rose from dead in three days:
- John 2:19-22, "Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” 20 They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?" 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body. 22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken."
11. The church of God does not need to be many for Jesus to be with them:
- Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
12. We do not need to go to man-made church for confession:
- James 5:16, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
13. In the New Testament (the gospel), we just pray in our bedroom or a private place to pray to God in secret.
- Matthew 6:5-7, "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words."

F. Faith
1. Faith comes second from love.
- 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
2. Without love, faith is nothing:
- 1 Corinthians 13:2, "If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing."
3. Jesus may dwell in our hearts through faith rooted in love:
- Ephesians 3:16-18, "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, being rooted and established in love.”
4. In this modern age after the First Coming, God’s commands are no longer burdensome:
- 1 John 5:3, "In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,"
5. And this is God’s basic command:
- 1 John 3:23, "And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us."
6. With modern science proving the Almiighty God who is not served by human hands (Acts 17:25), we focus more to be righteous, not religious:
- James 2:24, “You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.”
7. How can we be saved with faith without deeds?
- James 2:14, "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?
8. Faith if not accompanied by action is dead:
- James 2:15-17, "Suppose someone is without clothes and daily food. If you say to him, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."
And supported further by this verse:
- James 2:26, "As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead."
9. We are all children of God through faith:
- Galatians 3:26, “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith."
And supported by this verse:
- 1 John 3:1 "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him."
10. As faithful stewards of god's grace, share your blessings:
- 1 Peter 4:10, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
11. The goal of the command is love coming from pure heart, good conscience, and sincere faith.
- 1 Timothy 1:5, "The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."
12. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
- Galatians 5:6, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."
13. Faith is also to provide assistance for their family & relatives:
- 1 Timothy 5:8, "Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."
14. If we love money we may get strayed from the faith.
- 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
15. To be justified is faith in Jesus is not just obeying the law (Moses' law):
- Galatians 2:16; “know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.”
16. I now live by faith in Jesus because he appeared to me through 21st Century Divine Revelation like what happened to Paul:
- Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
17. Testing our faith produces perseverance:
- James 1:2-3, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."

G. Love
1. Faith, Hope, & Love: love is the greatest:
- 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
2. If we have faith but we do not have love, we are nothing:
- 1 Corinthians 13:2, "If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing."
3. God is love. If we live in love, we live in God, and God in us.
- 1 John 4:16, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
4. If we love one another, we fulfill the law:
- Romans 13:10, "Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law."
5. We gain nothing if we just help the poor, but we do not have love:
- 1 Corinthians 13:3, "If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing."
6. The goal of this command is love:
- 1 Timothy 1:5, "The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."
7. From the very the beginning, the message is for humans to love one another:
- 1 John 3:11, "This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another."
8. Love of God is made complete if we love one another:
- 1 John 4:12, “No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
9. In Jesus’ coming, his new command is to love one another:
- John 13:34, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
10. God so loves us, we ought to love one another:
- 1 John 4:11, "Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
11. Over all virtues put on love binds them all together in perfect unity:
- Colossians 3:13-14, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
12. Anyone hates a brother or sister is in darkness:
- 1 John 2:10-11, "Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them."
13. Love never fails:
- 1 Corinthians 13:8, "Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."
14. Love surpasses knowledge:
- Ephesians 3:19, "and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
15. Love is the Greatest Gift:
- 1 Corinthians 12:31, “But you should truly want to have the greater gifts. Love Is the Greatest Gift.”
16. Let us live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ:
- Ephesians 5:1-2, "Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. 2 Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God."
17. God’s commands are not burdensome in the coming of Jesus:
- 1 John 5:3, "In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,"
And the basic command of God is this:
- 1 John 3:23, "And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us."
18. For the love of God to be in us is for us to love the poor in action & in truth.
- 1 John 3:17-18, "If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
19. To love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself are more than burnt offerings and sacrifices:
- Mark 12:33, “You have spoken well, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one. There is no other God but him. 33 To love God with all your heart and mind and strength is very important. So is loving your neighbor as you love yourself. These things are more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
20. The only that counts is faith expressing through love:
- Galatians 5:6, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love."
21. We can live a life, not just as a journey, but spiritual journey if we obey the following commands:
- Ephesians 5:2, "Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God."
- 1 Corinthians 16:14, “Do everything in love.”
- James 2:8, "If you really keep that royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing it right."
