T) End Times

"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness

and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness."

(Romans 1:18)

End Times

1. The following passages describe the End Times:

Daniel 12:1-4, "“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

2. “The Destruction of the Temple and the Signs of the End Times”

3. Wake up, the hour has already come.

Romans 13:11, "And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed."

4. The following verse gives us typical examples of signs of the end times:

Luke 21:10-11, " Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven."

5. And let us mark this: Terrible times in the last days:

2 Timothy 3:1-4, "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God."

6. Let us take note that the wrath of God is being revealed against all the godliness and wickedness of men:

Romans 1:18, "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness."

7. It is because of the false prophets in sheep’s clothing who have the truth:

Matthew 7:15-16, "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?"

8. One “Bad Fruit”: The rich hoarded wealth in the last days:

James 5:1-3, "Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days."

9. God is patient; he does not want us to perish but to come to repentance:

2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

10. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold and this the major sign of end times:

Matthew 24:10-13, "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
