"Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry."

(1 Corinthians 10:14)

2013.07.14 - Touchdown Jesus Incident

    Date:                                  July 14, 2013

    Location:                           Bedroom, Nepukos, Chuuk, FSM

    Narrator:                            Etma

Narration:

Actually, this incident is not exactly of the date of the touchdown of Jesus (photo below) but the date I discovered it from my internet surfing on July 14, 2013.

Photo from - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_of_Kings_(statue)

The above taken from internet with caption: “King of Kings was a 62-foot (19 m)-tall statue of Jesus on the east side of Interstate 75 at the Solid Rock Church, a 4000+ member Christian megachurch near Monroe, Ohio, in the United States. It was destroyed by a lightning strike and subsequent fire on June 15, 2010.”

The following is an excerpt on how the destruction of the huge statue occurred.

“On June 15, 2010, the statue was struck by lightning and consumed in the resulting blaze. The statue was sculpted using a thin skin of fiberglass over a flammable styrofoam interior stabilized by a metal frame, and the fire left only its internal metal structure.” – King of Kings (statue) - Wikipedia

With this unusual incident caused by natural disaster, I remembered the lightning struck Saint Peter Basilica and the numerous churches got damaged worldwide by natural causes from 2004 to 2013. This could mean of God’s wrath (Romans 1:18), birth pains (Luke 21:10-11), and signs of “End of Times” (Mark 13:1-8) caused by hypocrisy of the “Modern Pharisees” as described as the “Seven Woes on the Teacher of the Law and the Pharisees by Jesus in Matthew 23.

The actual touchdown transpired within the period of the 21st Century Divine Revelation that this must be a call not to worship idols, as strongly expressed in the following biblical verses:

  • Exodus 20:4, "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below."
  • Jeremiah 10:14, "Everyone is senseless and without knowledge; every goldsmith is shamed by his idols. His images are a fraud; They have no breath in them."
  • 1 John 5:21, "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols."
  • Deuteronomy 5:8-9, "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 9 You shall not bow down to them or worship them"

If the alleged churchmen love Jesus and successors of the Disciples, especially Saint Peter, then I hope that they focus on the compromise as stated in John 21:15-17 and 1 Peter 5:2-3. The money, time, and energy consumed in the practices of idolatry could have been used to make their faith more fruitful by following the biblical teaching, as follow:

  • James 2:15-17, "Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."
  • 1 John 3:16-18, "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

Revelatory Message

This is a bad omen as expressed in the following verses:

  • Matthew 24:1-2, "Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

A strong wake-up call for the world to stop idolatry.

  • Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.” (1 Corinthians 10:14)

The above is directly connected to the revelatory message of the Monarch Butterfly Incident, the link of which is as follows:

Instead of building structures or icons for Jesus, the call is for the religious leaders to preach the divine laws stated below, and to lead the world by examples:

  • Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
  • James 2:8, "If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.”
