Spiritual Awakening

"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people,

who suppress the truth by their wickedness."

(Romans 1:18)

"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness."

(Romans 1:18)

God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to testify to the truth (John 18:37) that is under the New Creation:

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

Time has come for a strong wakeup call and subject humanity to a deeper Spiritual Awakening through the 21st Century Divine Revelation:

  • John 4:23-24, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Ten major things for Spiritual Awakening:

  1. Love comes from God because God is love:
  • 1 John 4:7-8, "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

  • Romans 5:5, "And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."

2. Wherever your treasure is, there your heart will be also:

  • Matthew 6:19-21, "“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

3. Pure and faultless religion:

  • James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

4.God does not live in temples built by human hands:

  • Acts 17:24-25, "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else."
  • Acts 7:48-49, “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: “‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord. Or where will my resting place be?”

5. Love comes from God because God is love:

  • 1 John 4:7-8, "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

6.Humanity is one body; we are all members of the body of Christ whoever we are (1 Cor. 12:12-27):

  • Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

2008.02.17; Heart-Shape Coral Incident (A Call for Unity; John 17:20-23)

7. One main reason of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is for us to know what love is:

  • 1 John 3:16-18, "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

8.Faith accompanied by action is salvation:

  • James 2:14-17, "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

2005.01.07; Action Moth Incident (Faith without works is dead; James 2;17)

9.For us to be a Christian is to observe the law of Christ and the Royal Law:

  • Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ."
  • James 2:8, "If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,”[a] you are doing right."

10. Love your neighbor as yourself is more important than that all burnt offerings and sacrifices:

  • "Mark 12:33, "To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
  • Galatians 5:14, "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself."
