2004.09.04; Huge Financial Loss Incident

Narration:

     This event may not be strange or paranormal but looking on the whole picture from the beginning and up to this time of 2010, I feel that there was divine intervention to me to be able to understand the divine message or calling which emphasized the importance of love or inner wealth than of external wealth or money.

     On September 4, 2004 our manager-accountant, of our purchasing office in the Philippines, was forced to report big money loss after a series of audit. She accepted regretfully that she committed embezzlement and forgery which caused huge loss of cash and property (house and lot in Manila). In return of her honesty plus of my wife’s and my high respect to her mother and father, we did not do any legal action against her.

     Recently, in 2011, I confronted her face to face, and demanded for the complete truth and the reasons for committing such crime, knowing of her honesty ever since. She accepted all her sins and even related me some names involved partly in the perpetration. I explained to her that it is important to me, as a minister and philosopher, to know the reason for committing such offense when she was being fully trusted without regular audit. She repentantly replied that it was “For material gain”. Since I am already so familiar of the Bible and I know the verses Luke 6:30 and Matthew 6:14, I forgave her and more particularly of the divine calling that I am in. After that serious meeting, I was still thinking the possibility of divine intervention, using her as instrument to strip me off excessive wealth, plus of the major property of mine in the Philippines, the house and lot.

     By this time, August 17, 2013, I realized that this Huge Business Loss Incident played an important role for me to be able to seek the kingdom of God as in Matthew 6:33. If I still own house and lot, how can I be able to reside in the squatter area (slum) and be able to discover the kingdom of God? (full story of this is in “Leaving Everything Behind Incident”). Another teaching that made me accepted with comfort the huge business loss was because of the following biblical verse;

• Luke 9:23, “Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” (Mark 8:34, Mat. 16:24, James 1:2-4)
• Matthew 6:24, "No one can be loyal to two masters. He is bound to hate one and love the other, or support one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and the power of money at the same time." (Luke 16:13)

     I now feel that to achieve the divine mission I must be guided by the above teaching, the requirement of being a disciple of Jesus. Somehow, I feel that I am truly being subjected to divine guidance and intervention; things seem to be set, level by level or stage by stage, so that I could easily fulfill the divine mandate.

 

Additional information in the past in connection to this incident;

     There are two more major reasons of why I thought of divine intervention that God was stripping me out of disproportionate amount of wealth. I lost huge amount of money in the following causes;

• I lost in various forms of gambling, especially Casino.
• I was kidnapped for ransom on September 11, 2001.

     All of these crippled our business, and yet, with my wife being so strong without showing any regrets and weakness, made me tough too. In fact, one of her statement encouraged me when I was down was: “It’s ok, we cannot go hungry; we can plant and eat sweet potato (kamote) if we go back to Chuuk”. With different reaction plus of the number of miracles she experienced, I believe that she is part of the mission. In fact, there was a miracle under the 21st Century Divine Revelation that my wife was used as instrument, detail of which is in this link;

Revelatory Message;

     As of today, August 17, 2013, I believe that for me to fulfill the divine mandate, certain standards are to be part of my principle, as explained below;

1. Serve only one master, God; not money. (Luke 16:13), as revealed in the miracle as follows;

2. As Jesus' disciple, obey this verse;

•   Luke 14:33, "In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples."
